The vast majority of the work we do involves a database, either to store configuration metadata or to hold user data. Our database of choice is Microsoft SQL Server and POD SOLUTIONS has extensive experience in using this RDBMS in all its implementations from V6 onwards.

We are happy to develop applications using an existing SQL Server installation or we can use the free version, SQL Express which comes from Microsoft. Both offer similar functionality with only minor data restrictions in the free version.
